DigiHub Launch
The BASE DigiHub is now open!!
Finally, after two years of development work and Covid disruptions we are so excited to begin welcoming Digital & ICT Start-ups, micro-businesses & remote workers!
We launched our space in September with Minister Heather Humphreys who was accompanied by Joe McHugh TD; John McLaughlin, CE of Donegal County Council; Gerry Finn, Chairperson and Tomás Ó Síocháin, CEO of the Western Development Commission; John Keaney – CEO of SIRO along with other guests.
It was a really special day for us to finally welcome guests into the space. We want to extend a huge thank you to our partners Donegal County Council and the Western Development Commission, who secured the funding for the Hub and assisted us during the development process.
We offer coworking, own door offices, break out spaces and meeting rooms. As part of SIRO’s Gigabit Hubs programme, through Vodafone the Hub offers highspeed wired and wifi broadband.
The DigiHub at The BASE is part of the DigiWest Network of ConnectedHubs.ie. It was funded by the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund as part of the Government’s ‘Our Rural Future’ strategy which aims to revitalise towns and villages, promote remote working, and ensure balanced regional development.
If you are a Digital or ICT business interested in finding out more about our DigiHub & booking a tour, DM us or drop us an email on leah@thebaseenterprise.ie
